Every month, many pastor letters come across my desk. Here is part of one from Pastor Edward. It made me cry, as it embodies the heart of what we are trying to achieve, a ‘live connection’ and while the letters you receive might not be as eloquent, I can assure you that your partnership is appreciated and valued.

Dear John,  Greetings from Isoka, Zambia.

Last week as I was entering my house from visiting a church member, I found my wife in the sitting room leading my children in prayers. I stopped at the entrance because I didn’t want to disturb them. Then I heard my daughter praying a long prayer for John L…. and his family. She thanked the Lord for them because through them, her parents can pay for her school fees. She also prayed to the Lord that he will keep them in good health, that he will bless them more, he will protect them from the devil’s attacks. When I heard this I was very much touched. My family feel affected to you, a day cannot pass without any one member mentioning your name. We thank the Lord for you……

GREAT NEWS! The Malawian churches that were damaged by the heavy rains have now been re-built and their roofs installed. You might remember seeing Halord’s damaged church in the January newsletter. Here is one happy Halord Chingoma with his now completed church!

And a final word of encouragement from Gal 6: 9 – 10 “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest – if we do not give up! Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.” NIV

Thank you for all you are doing – especially for those who are part of the Live Connection family.

May The Lord bless you and keep you in all your ways.

Anne
