Edward was born in 1971 in Lusaka. His father was poisoned but his uncle took all the possessions and the family relocated to the Northern where he completed secondary school in 1991. They suffered so much he felt there was no God. In 1999, he married Elizabeth and they have been blessed with seven children, 5 girls and 2 boys. They also care for his brother’s 2 orphaned children.
In 1991 I was stricken by an unknown disease. My mother and uncle tried different hospitals but nothing was found. While still in Mpika hospital in 1992, a friend invited me to listen to an evangelist, Eddie Elliot. He preached that JESUS is the one who is able to save and heal. My struggle was to believe that Jesus is able but God spoke to my heart, I believed in his son Jesus who died on the cross for my salvation and healing. I took a step of faith and went forward as a sick person to receive Jesus Christ as my Lord and Saviour. He led me into a confessional prayer and then he prayed for my physical healing. Immediately I was healed! Counsellors gave further instructions on how to grow spiritually, I joined a church which continued to disciple me and my life changed from hating God to loving Him even more. 8 years later the Lord called me to Bible school. After completing a 2year Bible school course I joined the ministry and am now working as church planter in Isoka.
Ministry: Fire Baptizers Church has ministries targeting women, youth, and children which all seem to be bearing fruit. We meet in a rented building for church activities. We have a piece of land but are yet to start the church building. We will start doing that as soon as we begin raising funds for the project. Please pray for all of us in this ministry as we continue to fulfil his commission to reach the world with the gospel of salvation
