Kanyenge Kanyenge is 54 years old, married to Mildred and has two children, a boy (Joshua) 19 years and a girl(Tariro) 18 years. He gave his life to the Lord Jesus Christ in 1979 in an Assemblies of God church in the town of Chingola, Copperbelt Province, Zambia. It was on a Sunday that Jesus came into his life as a young man. Thereafter in the following year 1980, he was filled in the Holy Spirit. Since that experience his life has never been the same. He has focused on serving the Lord to this time. After high school he felt the call of God to serve the Lord in full time ministry. In 1992 he earned a diploma in Theology at Rhema Bible Training Centre, in south Africa. While at Bible School he served in the church as an usher and Counsellor. Thereafter, in 2005 he enrolled at Global University where he earned a B.A in Bible and Theology and graduated in 2011. He has spoken in conferences in Zambia and outside Zambia in countries like Uganda, Ghana and South Africa to mention but a few. He is involved in pre-marital counselling, Marriage Counselling, conducts seminars, conferences and crusades.
Kanyenge has ministered on Television talk shows and has risen through ministry ranks. He began as a deacon, and then an elder, thereafter as an assitant Pastor and now serves as the overseer of Vine Bible Church which he planted in 1996. The church is in Chibolya compound one of the poorest areas of Lusaka. Chibolya also has Lusaka’s highest drug and substance abuse rate with violent gangs everywhere. He gives oversight over the Primary Community School that gives education to the less privileged boys and girls of the community where the church is situated. Kanyenge puts value on people. He believes in integrity, honesty, truthfulness and commitment to the work of God. He believes in the word of God as the final rule of faith and conduct and is determined to never give up. His philosophy of life is contributing meaningfully to life and the Kingdom of God. He believes God has given him a mandate to take the message of faith to all nations.
