Kenneth was born in Pietermaritzburg in a village called Mayizekanye. He grew up in a
Christian environment, is now 33 years of age and married to Nonhle. The Lord has
blessed them with a little girl. In September 1996, in a tent crusade, he encountered
Jesus Christ and his life changed completely. His desire since then is to become His
Kenneth planted the church in Tshelimnyama near Pinetown in 2010 and is already in
full time ministry. He has a teaching ministry and also ministers in music. He is currently
serving under the leadership of Clement Mdabe who is a team leader of 9 churches
under Alliance International Ministries. Kenneth is humble and gentle man, and has
dedicated himself to serving his community. His plan is to teach them the original way
of living. The local church has a membership of 40 at present. It has established a
number of different ministries like children, youth, women and men’s ministries. They
meet each week in a school class room which does have some restrictions on the work.
His vision is to bring hope to the hopeless, by assisting all to reach their purposes in life.
The vision of the church is to glorify God by going out to reach the lost, disciple them,
then mobilize them to help meet the needs of this impoverished community and release
the called into ministry. “Win, Train, Serve” is their motto.
