I was born in Kabukye village in Kamuli District. I attended Rubaga Boys School for my primary and later on went to Busoga high school where I attained my O level Certificate. I later joined Kamuli Primary Teacher’s College and I attained Grade 3 certificate in primary teaching.
When I was attending my senior four at Busoga High School, I had a friend who was born again and he used to share with me about Jesus. After a year (1982), I gave my life to Christ when he led me into a prayer of confession. From then, I continued to walk with the lord even when I was teaching as well as sharing Christ with my colleagues and communities.
In 1986, I was an associate pastor in Buwuma missions on the rock church. And I was here for three years and I was transferred to another place by the government and I couldn’t be able to make it because of the distance. This is where I met my wife and I married her in 1989. I joined Kyamuluya church and was ordained a deacon.
In the same year, we shifted to Jinja district where I joined Jinja Deliverance church. At first, I was a home cell leader and later on I was ordained a deacon.
In 2000, I attended a discipleship training school with youth with A Mission and trained for one year. This is where we got a Vision of caring for the neglected in society especially children with disabilities and addicts. When we went on teaching the addicts, they liked our services and they thought they didn’t deserve to go back to their religions and habits and so they requested us to begin a church for them where they would be taught and nurtured. This brought about the birth of Celebrate Recovery Church in 2005 where I pastor to date. More of these Christians are families of former addicts and the former addicts themselves.
