Rosie has 4 children. She was widowed in 2010 when Stanleck was killed in an automobile accident. She lives in the Guruwe district, about 150 N of the capital, Harare, and has no support.
Ministry: Pastor Stanleck, together with his wife, Rosie, pastored Mbada Christian Fellowship since 2001 and stayed on after the white farmer was evicted, ministering to farm workers, the surrounding population and the new ‘settlers’. The church has suffered severe persecution, been shut down on 3 occasions, and was used as a torture base, but each time they have bounced back and endured by the Grace of God. Rosie has decided to carry on Stanleck’s work-
Vision: Her vision is to “turn Guruwe upside down” with the Gospel. Despite having endured horrific persecution, they have stood steadfast, proclaiming the Good News of Jesus Christ bravely, and with dignity.
