2020 November Newsletter

One of my main tasks in the Live Connection office, is to prepare the Pastor Cards that you receive when you sign up for a pastor; and following on from that is sending, or forwarding that Pastor’s letter on to you when I receive it from the Regional Leader. Many of you have been blessed to also receive Video and audio clips from your pastors, so you do have some idea of what they look like, and often, what they sound like!
Pictured on the cover, is Pastor Kelvin Nkole, who is still on the waiting list, but reading through the last batch of letters that came, I was very touched, and quietly amused to read this in one of the letters:
“We as a family wish to thank the Lord that he willed that we be connected to you. We have not seen you, but Jesus to whom we are all connected brought us together in the spirit so we can also be connected to you. You have continued to make our work much easier because of your financial and prayer support. Thank you! My wife and I are well. Our children, have always wanted to see who it is that sends us this support.? I tell them don’t worry, you will meet them in heaven if you are saved now.”
With this in mind, please consider sending us a photo of you and or your family – and especially if you have children who share the Live Connection vision – so that your pastors and especially their children, can …. ‘see who it is that sends us this support.’!
And in another…
“First of all let me express my gratitude to you, for what you have done to me and my family. By supporting me, you are only fulfilling the scripture in Matthew 25:34-40. To say the truth, without your support, I would have failed to live and work in this village. I don’t know what it would have been to me as a stranger in a totally different environment, culture and language to be seen begging for food to feed my family. I also thank the Live Connection team for their heart to support us in the ministry that we are doing. This is really making our work much easier. May God bless you all.
35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’
37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’
40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for Me.’ Matthew 25: 35 – 40
From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU!
Blessings
