2021 January Newsletter

Dear Live Connection Partners
Greetings in the precious Name of Jesus! And A Happy New Year to you all!
I have received encouraging reports from our Regional Leaders, and share a couple with you:
From Bishop Martin in Kenya:
God calls people for specific task in His mission and you are one who have been building fallen walls and repairing bridges among God’s ministers across the world. When Pastor Paul first shared the vision of Live Connection I knew this is it, it is what have lacked all through the years of Christian mission, a people to stand with the Moseses of our time as did Aaron and Hur, lifting their hands up for war to be won unhindered.
I have observed the lives of the pastors Live Connection supports in Kenya and I witness a renewed energy to serve, new hope in their wives and children of a God who cares about their fate as they serve Him. Ministers’ lives going back to normal with their children going to school, putting on clothes and having bread on the table like any other child. Pastors wives singing and leading worship in the sanctuary with renewed energy and dedication. Pastors devoting all their time in winning souls for Christ.
I remember this recent testimony with one Rev Lazarus ” Now I leave my house every day and go for house-to-house evangelism where I have witnessed many coming to the faith.” I remember this testimony from one of our supported pastor’s wife ” I thought God had forgotten us, now when I look in the eyes of my young children, I see hope and can’t cease to give my all to God’s service “.
We remain indebted to God for service and prayers to you and all Live Connection partners.

2020 has come to a close with so much happening.
The opening with the Police Service has continued to be a blessing and yielding results. On Saturday 5 December we hosted a “Substance Abuse Awareness” meeting for the community. The Assistant Public Relations Officer came to make some very positive presentation. It was under the interesting COVID-19 regulations.
The rainy season is upon us, which we thank God for. The beginnings of it came with some huge winds and thunderstorms which took roofs off a couple of our chicken runs and Piggery. We thank God there was no loss to human life, and trust He will bring us through the setback as He has always done.
“…God will bring us through the setbacks as He has always done..” Amen to that!
We, all of us, wherever we are, have certainly had a year of setbacks, and so far it seems that 2021 might well be more of the same, but as Christians we know we can trust Our Heavenly Father each step of the way. We need Patience and Perseverance as we Pray through His Word which is full of rich promises, for Pardon, Provision, Peace and Protection.
Now May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13.
Thank you all – again, for your faithful support for our wonderful Pastors, knowing that together, we are making a difference in a sad and hurting world.
Love and Blessings
