2021 July Newsletter

Dear Live Connection Partners
Greetings in the precious name of Jesus!
While Covid is still taking its toll, we could not believe the senseless civil unrest, destruction and havoc that happened in South Africa earlier this month. 50 Billion Rand in damages & over 300 people killed in the violence and looting. Some of the big companies will recover, but the loss to small business is incalculable. They all need our ongoing prayers as they come to terms with it all.
Some prayer requests and Great Encouragement from the pastors… In Malawi –

Am here to praise God for what he is doing in the ministry. Last month I received a message from one of my members that his 18 months boy has passed away. Without hesitate I went straight to the house. I found people weeping. I entered in the room to comfort and a prayer. While in prayer I heard a voice to never stop that prayer until something happen. I was a little bit confused and straight engulfed with fear because the boy was completely pronounced dead by the hospital. And it was not necessary to pray a long prayer while people are mourning. But I had nothing to do, only to follow the voice. I prayed at least for seven minutes but to the surprise of everybody the dead boy started crying while I was in prayer. And that was the only thing which made me to stop the prayer. And the life of the boy was restored. No one can explain what happened. Even myself I was not ready for that. Only God was ready. The whole community is covered with fear of the Lord. Until now am humbled so much by God with what he has done. First experience in ministry! May all the glory and honor be to Him, forever and ever amen. I would also like to praise God for His mercy that the ministry is still growing. From the incident of the boy until now more people who were unbelievers are joining the church this shows that God has challenged them.
HALLELUJAH! WHAT A MIGHTY GOD WE SERVE!
Being in lockdown, we are enjoying the sports feast of the Olympics – they always remind me of Paul’s encouragement in both Hebrew 12;1, and Cor 9:24 “Therefore, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us also lay aside every weight, and sin which clings so closely, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us” ..(for we know that).” in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize. Run in such a way as to take the prize.”
Blessings
