2022 August Newsletter

To our Live Connection community, I say “hello”, and a huge thank you! Your partnership with Live Connection continues to make a significant difference to pastors in challenging circumstances.

Below is a photo of Frasier Manthando’s church in Nsanje, Malawi. Frasier is one of our regional leaders. Please pray as they have commenced building their church structure this week.

As a Board, we have been so excited by the recent addition into the Live Connection vision, of two new African countries, Rwanda and Burundi. From your quick response we have all 12 pastors from these two countries partnered with.

In this past fortnight, we have had two new partners join the Live Connection vision. Coby in South Australia has taken on two pastors and David & Judy from Bowral have taken on 3 pastors. That takes us to 188 pastors partnered with!

So here is our new challenge! Let’s pray that Live Connection will have 200 pastors by the end of the year! Only 12 more to go.

The scripture says in Colossians 4:3, … pray for us, too, that God will open a door of opportunity to us for the word, to proclaim the mystery of Christ, for which I have been imprisoned.

Without prayer, a door wouldn’t open! Let’s pray that a door may open to make it happen.

Only 12 more pastors to go and there are so many amazing pastors praying for their partnership. If you have a church, connect group, family gathering, men’s or women’s event, etc where you would like me to share the vision…. Please call me. Together, let’s reach our goal before the end of the year! On another note… we helped one of our pastors from Malawi, Medson Galantia, medically. Here is his appreciation sentence below:

I Medson Galantia would like to praise God for the great medical assistance that I received from Live Connection through apostle Paul Ravesteyn. I was down with heart problem. Hospital became my house as I was frequently in and out in the hospital, usually on a life Saving machine, struggling to breathe. After scanning it proved that my heart has swollen one part and needs expensive medication which I could not afford due to my financial status. I was desperate while in great pain. I would spend days without eating, weak and only sleeping. I had no hope of recovering. You are so such amazing people. You have done a great thing in my life by covering the cost of the medication. May the Lord bless you and grant you long life. Am short of words only God knows how to reward you. Stay always blessed, Medson Galantia.

Also, had I mentioned that when Mal and I went to Rwanda we took some soccer uniforms?
To our surprise we now have a Live Connection church soccer team.

Blessings
