2022 July Newsletter

Dear Live Connection Partners
Exciting news and Information
Thank you for your prayers for Paul & Mal while they were away in Africa.
They visited several countries, including Rwanda & Burundi, which is listed as the poorest country in the world. On their return, they brought back details of 6 new Burundi pastors as a start for Live Connection to partner with. My heart sank, as it has been increasingly difficult to find new partners … but God…
I just love what it says in the New Living translation –
“I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!” Is 65:24
So – Yes! Amazingly, in one week, God has opened the way and all 6 pastors now have partners, which means they didn’t even make it to the website – and it takes the Live Connection total to 181 Pastors partnered. How exciting is that?
I am happy to tell you that almost everyone has had a letter from their pastor(s) in the last couple of weeks. It has been a busy time in the office – with the next payments due to go next week.
I have not had leave since 2019 and shall be away from 16 August to beginning of October, visiting our family in Zimbabwe and South Africa and would value your prayers for our travels, especially that the booked luggage and flights all happen as planned.
If you have any concerns or issues during that time, please contact
Pastor Paul –on ravs@liveconnection.org or 0414 534 063
Something to look forward to: Paul will also be telling you more about his time in Africa in the August and September Newsletters.
Live Connection also has a new landline number 02 9064 7661.
And lastly, this prayer request from Pastor Nalle, one of the church planters in Indonesia: I am sure we can all identify.
“Please Pray for us, as the last few weeks we have experienced a small shock in our household due to unrelated communication. Likewise, in the congregation that we lead, there are several in the congregation that form groups which result in misunderstandings with each other. Pray for us that God will help us through this situation. Thank you.”
James 5:16 Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed.
Blessings
The Live Connection Team
