2023 March Newsletter

THANK YOU FOR YOUR GENEROSITY
Then he said, “Go into the world. Go everywhere and announce the Message of God’s good news to one and all.” ~ Mark 16:15
What a blessed month March turned out to be! We have been delighted and overwhelmed with gratitude by the wonderful response to the Bible appeal. Our target was to raise $6,000 for bibles, and to date God has blessed us abundantly with $11,193.
This blessing will help our Pastors go even further than we had imagined.
Thank you so much!
UPDATE ON MALAWI & MOZAMBIQUE
We have seen the devastating news of the terrible floods that cyclone Freddy has unleashed on Malawi and Mozambique. Some of the pictures are just too graphic to share.
The Office of the District Commissioner has announced that 45,000 people have been affected by the floods, 29,000 are staying in camps in Nsanje, over 500 have been killed and many more injured and displaced with houses and buildings washed away.
Praise God that all our pastors and their families are accounted for, but please pray for them as they face the challenges ahead. If God puts it on your heart to sow into their need, you are welcome to contact our team and direct your gift towards emergency relief.

PRAYER FOR PAUL & TIMOTHY
Please keep Paul and Timothy in your prayers as they prepare to travel on a mission trip to Africa from 2 April to 2 May.
They will be visiting several countries in central Africa, connecting with the regional leaders, doing Leadership Training and encouraging the pastors there:
- 3 to 7 April – Kenya – Bishop Martin
- 7 to 12 April – Burundi – Desire Kwizera
- 12 to 20 April – Uganda – Moses & David Livingstone
- 20 to 25 April – Rwanda – Gideon Mukiza (Timothy then returns to Australia).
- 26 to 2 May – Nigeria (much prayer needed about Paul’s planned visit there).
EASTER IS ALL ABOUT THE LAMB
At the start of the holy week, we turn our eyes upon Jesus and remember all that His story means to us.
Let us draw near and spend time at the foot of the cross thanking Him, and time at the empty tomb praising Him.
We wish you a very blessed Easter!
