Live Connection August Newsletter
Dear Live Connection Partners
Warm greetings from a very cold Sydney…
Some exciting News –
David Livingstone has been instrumental in introducing Live Connection to Nigeria!
We welcome Magnus Chukwu to the Live Connection family, as the new the Nigerian Regional Leader. Rev. Magnus Chukwu Adiele, his wife and 2 daughters live in Mowe in Ogun State, about 2 hours drive from Lagos International Airport. He has been in ministry for 22 years, serving in many capacities and eventually became the Camp meeting projects coordinator, as Head of Outreach Missions. His responsibilities saw him travel extensively around West and South Africa and the USA to strengthen the denomination branches. While serving with the 3rd largest evangelical church group in Nigeria, he was inspired to relinquish his position to move to the remote area of Mowe. In March 2017, he has established ‘Heart of Worship Family Church’, which focuses on discipleship evangelism through raising Word-driven intercessors and worshipers. Future plans include planting churches around Eastern Nigeria among the Igbos, and Northern among the Hausa where persecution greatly hampers outreach.

Both Samuel and Priscilia, the 2 so far partnered, have amazing testimonies and are putting their lives on the line as they work in extremely difficult, Boko Haram Moslem areas. We have 2 more pastors listed on the website, with many more also wanting partnership.
David will be returning early next month to run a Leaders’ Training workshop, and these 2 pastors have 2 days’ travel just to get there. Please do keep them in your prayers.
As Live Connection partners, you have all received letters from your pastors.
If you have not already done so, would you consider sending a letter in reply? Never underestimate the impact your partnership has on your pastor. The pastors often say they are blown away just realising that ‘someone’ on the other side of the world cares enough to send them money and pray for them. Your letter doesn’t have to be long – just a short note of introduction, anything about your family or situation (with a photo if possible) and ask for their prayers in return. Send your letter to me (anne@liveconnection.org) and I’ll be happy to send it on. While it is not always the case, we have been amazed at some of the really ‘Live connections’ that have developed!
The website has recently undergone some changes, so please let me know if you are having any problems with it. Our thanks to Brad for all he does to keep it up and running.
“Dear children, let’s not merely say that we love each other; let us show the truth by our actions.” 1 John 3:18 New Living Translation
Be Blessed in all your ways.
