Daka Ziyaya

Profile.

Daka was born in Katete district in the eastern part of Zambia. He is aged 50 years and was married to Agness Banda. They were blessed with 2 children, both boys. Unfortunately, Agness died about a year ago after short illness. Daka originally worked as a chef in one of the hotels and was saved through someone doing door to door evangelism. From the time that he gave his life to Jesus Christ, his life totally changed. Later the call of God was so strong that he no option but to yield to the call of God, so he resigned from work and left for pastoral training where he got a diploma in pastoral ministry.

Ministry

Daka is called as a pastor. He planted the church under Word of Life Ministries, which is situated about 4k from town. They acquired a church plot and constructed a temporary structure where they are currently meeting. The ladies and youth ministries are doing very well, and membership is about 65, but the people generally, are not doing well economically. He is dedicated to the work of God.

Vision

His vision is wrapped up in Mathew 28:19; reaching out to the unreached with the gospel of Jesus Christ and making them disciples of Jesus Christ.
