I was born in 1964 in Isoka, was brought up by my parents and completed my education in grade 10. In 1983 I got married to Lister and we have been blessed with 6 children, 4 boys and 2 girls. My main source of income is peasant farming.
Ministry
My parents were nominal Christians and going to church every Sunday became a tradition for me. I understood that the God I was worshipping was holy and that it was not possible for a sinner like me to go to heaven, but I still continued to go to church. I had no idea what it meant to receive salvation. In 1984, Pastor Sichula spoke about God’s love for a sinner. He helped me understand how much God loved me and went to the cross to die to take away my punishment. I put my faith in him and his death on the cross for the forgiveness of my sins. I prayed to accept Jesus as my personal saviour and Lord. I started experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit in my life as I continued following and witness for Jesus to others who did not know Him. My life changed. The Lord delivered me from slavery to smoking, drunkenness, adultery and other bad vices. I learned to speak to God through prayers. My love for His word developed. Attendance for church became meaningful. God gave me the gift of healing. I enjoyed praying for the sick whom God was touching for healing. In 1990 I answered the call to go for Bible School training at Mt Zion Bible School and at All Africa Bible School, which took me 3 years and I finally graduated in 1993. The Lord sent me to Nanyunyi along the border of Zambia and Malawi. God has helped me plant several new churches in this community, and in the nearby villages I continued to serve the Lord after the internship period had ended. The last church to be planted is Namwanda where I am serving now.
