Pastor Mackswell was born on April 1971 in Chilaphu village near Nsanje, Malawi. The sixth born in the family of eight children. He is married to Evelesi and they have been blessed with 7 children, 3 boys and 4 girls. He is medium in stature and is both a gentle and humble young man with huge zeal and determination for the gospel.

Ministry
Mackswell came to Christ in an evangelistic meeting in 1995. He was a farmer before his call into ministry. Coming from a poor and remote area he didn’t attend any Bible College. He is a part of the House of Prayer ministry in Malawi, serving under Manthando Fleza. There has been a big boost in the ongoing training of pastors in the local Church. During 2020, in the thriving village of Chilaphu, Mackswell planted a church which currently has 18 members. The closest town is Nsanje, which is 192 km south of Blantyre. They have a heart for evangelism and winning Souls to Christ
