Profile:
Petro Galantia was born in Chikhau village, in Nsanje, Malawi. He is 36 years old, the 4th born in the family of eight children. He is married to Grace and the Lord has blessed them with a girl aged 5 years. He grew up in a Christian environment and was saved in 2012.
Ministry:
Petro is the pastor of the church at Chikhau village 20km from Nsanje town. He is humble and gentle and has dedicated himself to serve his community. The Church has 65 members so far, with different ministries for the children, youth and women. The church has a planting project where they plant maize to help the community.
Demographics:
They currently conduct their services under a tree because their church building collapsed during the heavy rains, but they are fund raising to rebuild the church.
Vision:
Petro’s vision is to preach the gospel in his community by working hand in hand with different ministries. The church’s vision is to have home cells, which will reach out to disciple and train the saints to release them back into ministry.
